• Analyse von Fehlerursachen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette sowie Einleitung von Maßnahmen
• Planung, Durchführung und Überwachung von Qualitätsprüfungen
• Erstellung und Pflege qualitätsrelevanter Dokumentationen (Control Plan, Prüfplan, FMEA, Prüfanweisungen etc.)
• Moderation von Prozess-FMEAs sowie Koordination von Qualitätsmethoden
• Überwachung und Bearbeitung interner und externer Reklamationen
• Auswertung von Qualitätskennzahlen und Ableitung geeigneter Verbesserungsmaßnahmen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Einkauf, Entwicklung und externen Partnern
• Unterstützung und Umsetzung von Prozess- und Werkzeugoptimierungen
• Mitarbeit bei Audits (intern/extern) sowie Begleitung von Erstbemusterungen
• Schulung und Sensibilisierung der Produktion im Hinblick auf Qualitätsanforderungen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung im Metallbereich oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Weiterbildung oder Erfahrung im Qualitätsmanagement bzw. in der Qualitätssicherung
• Kenntnisse relevanter Normen (z. B. IATF 16949) von Vorteil
• Erfahrung in Methoden wie FMEA, 8D, Ursachenanalyse (z. B. Ishikawa, 5 Why)
• Sicherer Umgang mit Qualitäts- und ERP-Systemen (idealerweise CAQ-Systeme wie Babtec)
• Strukturierte, analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

• Coordinating all activities related to startup of new casting facility including but not limited to:
  • Project coordination with engineering 
  • Communication with European, South American, and US-based equipment suppliers
  • Monitoring and supervision of construction and installation activities

For our plant in Laurens, South Carolina (USA) we are looking for a CMM Operator/Quality Assurance

The task of the Coordinator of Measurement/Quality is to work closely with production and Coordination of activities across all shifts by alignment and communication of CMM and Quality Running Control of tasks, use of appropriate testing/measuring equipment to ensure impeccable quality products are manufactured and supplied in accordance with customer requirements. In this function, he/she is always informed on valid customer and other complex projects and supports the Project Team. Withing the APS framework, the coordinator is a catalyst for change, He/she works with peers and transmits the necessary skills and knowledge. This include any additional work as required by Management and possible travels may be required. 

Ihre Aufgaben

• Coordination of activities across all shifts by alignment and communication of CMM and Quality Running Control of tasks listed below:

• Planning and carrying out measurements for monitoring of the serial production and taking ownership of Visual Mgt Board and updating daily

• Carrying out and evaluating capability studies and cleanliness tests Planning and implementation of metrological method

• Quality planning in the product development stage

• Participation in the handling of customer complaints

• Training of staff in matters of metrology

• Implementation and sustaining of SPC

Supports:

• Production process optimization by Production Manager

• Systematic analysis of all technical manufacturing processes at Alupress Laurens

• Cause detection of quality issues in serial manufacturing Professional tasks

Tasks of Metrology:

• Participation in the project kick-off for new projects

• Measurement correlation with the customer

• Perform measurements

• Creation of correction report

• Work with Engineering for sampling requirements of customer tools.

• Work with Engineering on first sampling of purchased parts

• Work with Engineering to carry out capability tests of equipment’s, machines, quality equipment.

Tasks of Gauge Management (GM): 

• Participation in the definition of test requirements (in coordination

with Engineering)

• Participation in the definition of test requirements

• Participation in approvals of test systems and devices in cooperation with the Project Manager

Authorizations/Information Relations:

• Communicates with the quality department on deviations to the product or changes on the production equipment (eg. Tool change)
• Maintains equipment and work area appropriately and in accordance with plant wide 5S system.
• Identifies potentials for improvement and makes active suggestions.
• Ensures all activities are compliant with the Quality System requirements.
• Wears personal protective equipment as needed.
• Has authorization to stop production to avoid manufacturing of defective parts or potentially defective components.

The machining & assembly production manager is responsible for supplying the customer with good parts on time. He assures that his staff is well trained, motivated and follow the defined procedures. He takes care of the continuous improvement to improve the quality (scrap) and productivity.

He is responsible for the achievement of the goals in the machining & assembly department. 

• Lead/inform/train the employees within the machining & assembly department
• Coach the direct reporting employees (shift leader)
• Assure that all policies and procedures (safety, quality…) are respected and hold people accountable
• Conduct employee performance reviews
• Schedule and conduct plant meetings

• Preparation of operation schedules in cooperation with planning and logistics and coordination of manufacturing activities to ensure production, delivery and quality meets specifications.  
• Optimization of production through improved material flow, efficient utilization of available capacity and personal and reduction of scrap.
• Responsible for achievement of company goals with regards to First Time Quality, Internal Delivery, Productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Housekeeping, Headcount, Scrap and Overtime. This includes tracking, monitoring charts and assessing, developing and following through with necessary action plans.
• Optimization of quality controls within production department.
• Responsible for 5S system in the manufacturing area.
• Assures compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
• Supervises the day-to-day operations and people in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency, teamwork and housekeeping.
• Set-up of production equipment and production cells to meet customer timing and quality
• Training of operators on existing and new production systems
• Coordinates appropriate staffing levels including hiring and/or layoff situations. This includes supporting data to affect staffing increases/reductions.
